In Frankfurt’s diplomatic quarter a proportion and colour harmonised duplex house is being built characterised by the individuality of the small unit and the uniformity of the overall building.

Adapted to the topography of the plot, the ground floor is raised relative to the street level, which facilitates the illumination of the living spaces on the ground floor and enables access to the underground car park.

The projections and recesses in the main façade make the two units of the duplex house clearly identifiable. On the garden site the volume is broken up into horizontal structures. The flat roofs serve as roof terraces for the upper floors and roofing for the balconies of the lower floors. The separation of the balconies from each other and in part from the neighbouring development is formed by the vertically arranged design elements shaped in the characteristic style of the façade
